DESCRIPTION:
Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Regulator No. 9" wall hanging clock with a weight driven, 8 day, timepiece movement with dead-beat escapement and maintaining power in an oak case.
CONDITION:
The case is in excellent condition and has been refinished. The original painted dial is in very good condition with one area of in-painting. The hour and minute hands have age and may be original. The seconds bit is replaced. The label inside the case may be a replacement. The door glass is original. The movement is signed. A very clean example of this model. The case back carries a factory date of July, 1899.
